Bullet Resistant Glass
A Bullet Resistant Glass is the result of several glass layers polycarbonate and special polymers which become a bullet proof transparent barrier by using high temperature and pressure ,workings as a shield that reduces speed and power of the projectile and making possible the projectile does not pass through its volume.
More than 46 years ago AGP became the forefront as the greatest Bullet Resistant Glass developer and innovator , from the lowest the highest ballistic level, by working on new formulae and specifications in order to comply and outperforming the International Standards for bullet proof products such: NIJ 01.08.01, EN 1063, UL 752, Stanag 4569, ATPD 2352P ,VPAM 2006, and mexican and Argentinian rules. All of our BRG are certified by the most recognized laboratories like H.P. White Laboratories, Impact Physics Laboratory from the University of Dayton Research Institute, ICS Laboratories, Staatliches Beschussamt Ulm, Mellrichstadt and München.
OEM - AUTOMOTIVE
ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURER -OEM-
After servicing the Retrofit & Aftermarket for 17 years, AGP entered into its first OEM Agreement with VOLSKWAGEN A.G. - WOLSBURG, GERMANY to produce the PASSAT model. Our success with this program, and our increased participation in the complex European market, is as a result of the High Quality and Ballistics Standards we have developed for this market, which have opened up new opportunities for AGP.
AGP has been chosen by AUDI AG to produce the BRG for the AUDI A6 Program - Level BR4 - for a period of 5 years, and also chosen by BMW to produce the BRG for the X5, and is developing with Daimler Chrysler the new Mercedes E Class.
AGP is equipped with State-of-the-Art production facilities to meet the strict requirements of such prestigious customers.
In addition, AGP has invested more than 10 years in R&D to support all ballistic levels , with an integral approach to all of the above OEM Programs. Several other OEM programs are currently under development.
