After 18 months of intensive development activities, in January 2006, AGP Peru started serial production of the Panorama Windshield option of the Opel Astra GTC. This unique windshield windshield, has an area of 2.2 square meters, meets all mayor quality and performance standards and includes special performance characteristics such as solar energy transmission control. The car is being succesfully assembled by Opel in Antwerp facilities, the initially estimated assembly rate was achieved and plans for doubling it up are ongoing. This is the first time a windshield of this nature is being offered as an option for a series production vehicle and defines a milestone in automotive glazing history.
